A financial services startup needed to launch a cross-border remittance product alongside the technical infrastructure and operational systems required to run it. Clywell delivered and continues to support the full technology stack — from the consumer mobile application and web-based back-office portal to backend services, Azure infrastructure, domains, business email, and connected web and application properties. The challenge
The client needed a dependable digital platform for cross-border remittances, the internal tools required to manage daily operations, and a technical partner capable of supporting the wider technology environment. Transfer management, customer administration, exchange rate management, reporting, business email, domain configuration, and connected application support all needed to work together. Managing these responsibilities across multiple vendors could have created gaps between the product, infrastructure, and day-to-day technical operations.
What we built
Clywell delivered the platform end to end across mobile, web, backend, and cloud infrastructure. The consumer mobile application was built with React Native, the web-based back-office portal with React, and the backend transaction and API services with .NET. The platform provides live transaction visibility and operational tooling that enables the client team to monitor and manage activity efficiently. Clywell also configured and manages the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, alongside the technical systems supporting the wider business, including business email administration, domain and DNS management, and connected websites and application infrastructure.
The outcome
The platform launched successfully and is live with real customers processing transactions. Clywell continues to maintain the technology stack and support the surrounding technical operations that keep the platform running. The engagement demonstrates Clywell's ability to support a financial technology product across the full technology stack — from consumer-facing applications and backend services to cloud infrastructure and ongoing technical operations.
